Hugo & Hudson was established due to our frustration with the lack of availability of specific high-quality dog products that combined premium quality with the latest fashion trends. The idea for the brand emerged after experiencing the loss of my beloved dog, Dougal, in the Spring of 2016. In collaboration with my Labradoodle breeder, Francesca, we founded Hugo & Hudson.

People often inquire about the origin of the name. In the early stages of our venture, Francesca had recently acquired an Australian Labradoodle named Hudson from America, while I was fond of the name Hugo. When the time came to welcome a new Labradoodle puppy into our family that following Autumn, it was only fitting to name him Hugo!
